Registration Fees for the Conference

In accordance with the guidelines governing the organization of CHE, the following fees apply:
Conference Registration Fees
  Early bird rate up to August 15, 2020 Standard rate, August 16, 2020 to September 24, 2020
Members $ 400 $ 500
Non-members $ 525 $ 625
Nurses / Residents / Allied Health $ 325 $ 375
One day only $ 275 $ 275
Guest / Spouse (all meals & banquet package) $ 225 $ 225
Guest / Spouse (meals without banquet package) $ 150 $ 150
Guest / Spouse (banquet package only) $ 125 $ 125
Except for the "One day only package", these fees cover the Friday night banquet, three breakfasts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), ttwo breaks (Saturday and Sunday),two lunches (Friday and Saturday) and one dinner (Thursday).
All meals & banquet package at $250: These fees cover the Friday night banquet, three breakfasts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), two lunches (Friday and Saturday) and one dinner (Thursday).
Meals without banquet package at $150: These fees cover the three breakfasts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), two lunches (Friday and Saturday) and one dinner (Thursday).
Banquet package only at $125: These fees cover the Friday night banquet only.

CAGPO Bursaries to Attend the 2020 CAGPO Annual Conference

CAGPO is offering up to 3 bursaries, (maximum 1 for a Resident) to 2020 CAGPO members and trainees. 
These bursaries will give our members who do not have access to CME funding the opportunity to offset a significant portion of the costs to attend the 2020 CAGPO Annual Conference.
Each bursary will cover the following expenses:
  • Registration for the 2020 CAGPO conference (which includes all meals provided at the conference);
  • CAGPO’s annual banquet;
  • Three nights’ accommodation at the conference site in one of our block of rooms (Thursday, Friday, Saturday of the conference);
  • Economy class airfare (refunded to the awardee);
  • Bookings to be done through Agora Conventions & Events.
Maximum value of each bursary will be $2,000.00.
  • Complete our application form by August 15th, 2020 at the latest and send it to Lynne Savage by email;
  • You must be a present member of CAGPO;
  • Provide proof that your contract or province does not provide CME funding or CME reimbursement;
  • Agree to provide some form of educational activity within your Centre or region within three months of the CAGPO conference

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received by September 11, 2020 will be refunded, less $100 administrative charges. Please note that the registration fee will not be refunded until after the 2020 CAGPO Annual Meeting.
Cancellations received after September 11, 2020 are non-refundable.
Cancellations must be in writing and sent to the Conference Secretariat either by fax to 418-658-8850 or email to If the conference is cancelled for any reason, CAGPO-ACMOO shall not be held liable for airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by conference registration.

Please make sure to make your room reservation before August 24, 2020. Reservations requests made after, will be accepted based on guest room availability at the prevailing transient rates.

To make your stay pleasant and convenient, conference organizers have reserved a block of rooms for September 24, 25 and 26 at the conference venue, the InterContinental Toronto Centre.
Run of House Standard: $319.00 / night plus applicable taxes.
This group rate will be honoured 3 days before and 3 days after the conference, depending on availability.

These rates are guaranteed upon room availability and do not include provincial and local taxes and fees. Taxes are subject to change without notice. Room reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please reserve early, since there are a limited number of rooms available at the discounted conference rate. Moreover, all individual reservations are subject to the hotel's cancellation policy.

Self parking is a $32 per vehicule per night. Valet parking is at $49 per night. Plus applicable taxes.
Wi-Fi Internet is available on a complimentary basis in all guestrooms and public space.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

Dress Code
Business casual throughout the weekend.

Any incidentals expenses (room service, telephone, bar service, laudry, babysitting, etc.) will be the responsibility of the participant and must be paid for upon check out.

All travel arrangements are your responsibility. We recommend that you make your arrangements as soon as possible.
